This includes outdoor games, crafts, bible studies, and more. Counselors will be the leader of the group for day camp and the cabin for resident and adventure camp. Must be able to lead prayer, cabin or group devotions, gospel presentations, and able to communicate religious beliefs to campers. Counselors are to be a role model in attitude, speech, and actions consistent with a daily walk with Christ. Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Must be able to uphold Camp Tipton's statement of faith and code of conduct. Must be 18+ and graduated from high school. Room/board, all meals, $225/week and a $300 dollar ONE TIME ALL SUMMER bonus if you work Training week-8/1/2025.
Junior Counselor - Growing Christians that are 16+ that would like to assist Counselor. You will learn to lead games, Cabin and group devotions, adventure skills, and much more depending on your strengths. Must be able to lead prayer, bible stories, gospel presentations, and able to communicate religious beliefs to campers. Junior Counselors are to be a role model in attitude, speech, and actions consistent with a daily walk with Christ. Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Must be able to uphold Camp Tipton's statement of faith and code of conduct. Junior Counselors receive room/board, all meals, a weekly $10 camp store credit, and $100/wk. C.I.T Leader - C.I.T Leaders are Christ followers who have a solid foundation in the Bible and exhibit strength in leadership. Leaders will be in charge of C.I.T’s spiritual development, work projects, and facilitating their summer at camp. This position requires close work with camp Leadership(Directors, and Kitchen Manager) to accomplish all tasks and git each C.I.T a summer they will never forget. Must be able to lead service projects, be organized, lead group devotions, and commit to 9 weeks of camp. This role requires a heart of and for discipleship and a servant mindset. Must be 20+,have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ & be able to uphold Camp Tipton's statement of faith and code of conduct. This role provides room/board, all meals, and weekly pay to be discussed with Executive Director. Counselor in Training(C.I.T) - Christians that are 15 years of age that have just finished their freshman year of high-school and are meant to learn to become a junior counselor. Must be hard working and love camp atmosphere. C.I.T’s are a vital part to camps success. They are the behind the scenes warriors doing work projects like weedeating, cleaning the bathrooms, washing dishes, sweeping and moping gym each day, and many more service projects. This is where you learn the “behind the scenes” of camp and what it looks like to be on summer staff. C.I.T’s will have a C.I.T director, Group leader for boys and Group Leader for girls, will have daily personal, group devotions, nightly campfires and assisting and night activities, weekly “FUN” nights determined by the Director & Group leaders, and much more. This the summer camp experience of a life time where they learn to serve, and be a role model in attitude, speech, and actions consistent with a daily walk with Christ. C.I.T’s are required to pay $75/wk this is to help cover C.I.T staff, lodging, meals, & fun nights. |
Summer Camp Ministerial & Leadership positionsKitchen Manager - The Kitchen Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of food service at camp, ensuring that meals are prepared safely, efficiently, and in accordance with dietary needs and health regulations. This role includes menu planning, assisting with food ordering, kitchen staff supervision, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. The Kitchen Manager works closely with camp leadership to provide nutritious, kid-friendly meals while managing food inventory and adhering to budget. Strong leadership, organization, and food safety knowledge are essential for success in this role. Pay is based on experience range ($400-$500)/wk, with all meals included for training week plus 9 weeks of camp. Kitchen Assistant - The Kitchen Assistant works in coordination with the Kitchen Manager to plan menus, prepare meals, and organize meal times and food distribution for all events. And any other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or Camp Director. Pay is $250 per week with room/board, as well as meals included. |
